KIRKUS REVIEW

Short stories of spaniels and setters, sentimental in approach. But then most people want their dog stories to be sentimental. Champions prove their value when they seem worthless, win ribbons at crucial moments, bring about romance, keep faith with their dead masters, etc. There is a redeeming bit of humor in puppy misdemeanors. ""Pop"" magazine stuff. The Morgan Dennis illustrations will create plus sales.
