DAISY AND DOBBIN: Two Little Seahorses

A difficult book to place, because the continuity is long for the read aloud age group- and the substance of the fairy tale is young for the next older, read to themselves group. However, there is a lot of the play on words that six and seven year olds delight in; and seahorses are appealing to all ages. This is the story of the adventures of two of them, and of the Chinese mermaid that went with them from Java to Cape Cod and back again.
