THE RUNAWAYS

To the foreign boy, a Latvian refugee of WW II, the rugged wilds of the mountains offered greater freedom than Mr. Johnson's ranch where his family had come to live. After facing up to the wilds, Jan then faces up to himself and returns to the ranch, leading his newly claimed wild horse.
