KIRKUS REVIEW

Any alert subteen will know just what is going to follow in this ""mystery"" which can be reduced to the oldest formula in the world, but the fourteen year old girls, English-born Vicki and Pennsylvania Dutch Hannah Yoder, bubble and bounce right through it as if it had never happened before. And then, the background, which presents a very friendly people behind their barrier of formidable clothes and severe customs, lends a good deal of interest. As for the story, it's about the chest which Vicki buys for a few dollars at an auction, which is lined with new newspaper, and filled with even newer counterfiet money, and the man who attempts to take it away from them.... Chust cheerful.
