KIRKUS REVIEW

In his account of the Anasazi (""ancient ones""), the early Indians of the Southwest, Mr. Baldwin gives much information about anthropology and archaeology by delving into ruins and remains. The history of the Pueblo and Hopi Indians is traced from 2000 years ago to the present. The countless facts were not written up by the author in a very inspired or readable style; however, if the young enthusiastic willing to plod through some sluggish prose, he will dig up some unusual facts and findings.
