This might have been jazzed up and dramatized -- but the journalist assigned to the Commandos has chosen to give a straight, non-glorified account of that very special service which has caught the imagination of the public. First he presents the training and tactics of the Commandos, a volunteer group to whom cool-headed courage, ingenuity and corporate spirit are prerequisites. He tells the stories of various raids, one of deliverance on the Lofton Islands, of retribution on V, at St. Nazaire, their greatest exploit. Deliberately toned down -- the style almost flat.
