KIRKUS REVIEW

Sinclair can be counted on for well-paced, colloquial, modern adventure -- not sentimentalized, not pulling the long how unduly in the personal adventure aspects. This is a dramatic, fast moving story of his adventures in Northern India, in Waziristan, in earthquake racked Quetta. Good escape reading for fire-side travelers -- more lusty adventure than the Halliburton books.
