KIRKUS REVIEW

I like the Flopsy Moore stories, and this is one of the best. Good High School background, good human quality in characterizations, enough incidents to keep the ball rolling, and sound psychology back of it. Criticisms -- dialogue, while good, is a trifle dated. The story probably rings true for smaller communities, but seems a bit tame and conservative for big cities.
