A GIRL TO COME HOME TO

Another religio romance as Rodney and Jeremy, brothers, return from the wars, heroes, and on pretty close terms with God after their experiences in battle. Rodney finds that Jessica, the girl who had ditched him to marry for money, is still after him but Rodney maintains a lofty detachment (even to the extent of hiding in the pantry when she comes to call) and transfers his interest to Diana, a friend of Jeremy's girl, Baryl. Rodney introduces Diana to God, helps her to be saved and to save herself from a marriage she did not want, and a double wedding follows Jessica's complete -- and deserved -- undoing. Mrs. Hill has an unassuaged following.
