GOD'S MASTERPRICES by Grace Noll Crowell

Email this review

By men and women God chose to reveal himself to man, and some of these stand out as ""Masterpieces"", those whose lives in some special way made clear to other men the often strange ways of God with man, and His requirements as they respond to his call. So Moses, Abraham, Joseph, Elijah, Elisha, David, Ruth and Naomi, Esther and Hannah, the mother of Samuel, are sketched devotionally by Grace Noll Crowell who has written many other books of devotion and poetry, and the reader is gracefully carried along with her to share the glimpse of God which he has revealed in the lives of these chosen people. She concludes with a portrait of God himself as painted by Jesus in the parable of the prodigal son. In addition to general devotional reading, these portraits would make excellent church school supplementary reading.
