KIRKUS REVIEW

A page of text- a full page of photographic illustration -- combine to present briefly some aspect of animal wild life and its conservation. There are 52 topics, including water, food, refuge, family ways, stream pollution, forest fire, and many other topics. The value lies chiefly in use by adults with children through 4H clubs, scout groups, summer camps, classrooms. A child already interested in wild life would need no guidance, but the average child would find it very choppy reading.
