HOMESTEADERS' HORSES

Rather tame story of Jack and his family, who spend a summer on a homestead claim in the Southwest, and whose two horses disappear the day they arrive. Jack is the youngest, but proves himself the most capable, as he saves his brother's life, follows down the clues of the stolen horses, wins a reward. Somehow the story dates in manner as well as matter, and the black and white pictures have not sufficient distinction to liven the test.
