Wisconsin children at the turn of the century go to Montana to live on a ranch. They stumble on a mystery and in the solving of it they help save the ranch for their uncle. Readable enough story, but smallish type and bad format and pictures which strain so for the period that they seem to date the book unduly, may deter some readers.
