WHAT DO THEY SAY!

A sturdy book for animal identification with big, bland two-color pictures by the author. Repetitious, rhythmic text tells the child what the pictured animal says, then presents another sound for guessing the animal pictured on the next page. Although the illustrations are a bit too mild for our taste, this is an excellent participation book ending with all the things a boy and girl can say. For very young children -- heavy paper and board, and strongly sewed.
