KIRKUS REVIEW

A new, revised and enlarged edition of that palliative (panacea?) for panicky, prospective mothers which plumped for the approach now known as ""natural childbirth"". Since that time he has varied the theme in The Birth of a Child and Introduction to Motherhood, but it is more likely that the parent to be will want to return to the original here which has run through many editions and run up considerable sales.
