We have starred this not because it is a great book, but because we believe it imperative that our young should know more about the great courage and resourcefulness of our Russian allies. Evidently Mr. Felson's father has been able to give his son all the local color used to show life in the Ukraine. This book tells the story of Mikhall, a Cosmach lad, who joined a guerrilla band, which was destined to blow up the great Dam. The Jacket is grim and so is the plot but our children have to face the facts of this war.
