KIRKUS REVIEW

A very thorough handling of every aspect of the building of subways, with a good deal of interesting data about the history of subways and the type used in different parts of the world. A book that should interest older boys and adults equally, provided there is any curiosity about what is happening under the big city streets. Fascinating photographs. Text is clear, concise, and at points dramatic. Straight factual material.
