KIRKUS REVIEW

In a recent New York interview octogenarian Marx described his current occupation as ""Breathing,"" so it is doubtful that Captain Spaulding whapped off much of this himself. However, if you can simulate the buzz-saw intonations and the eyebrows jerking up and down like Venetian blinds, you'll enjoy the few highlight interviews from the hit (now rerunning) quiz show, You Bet Your Life. There is also a brief collection of Groucho one-liners which badly need sound effects: ""Your grandfather was in oil? Was he a sardine?"" But the bulk of this nostalgia binge consists of testimony from the producers, directors, etc. of YBYL, a brace of former contestants (including Phyllis Diller), and George Fenneman, ""boy announcer."" Strictly for those who pay tribute to the one, the only. . . .
