THIS IS BETSY

Pub Date: Sept. 29th, 1975
Publisher: Random House

In the dead simple vein of Wolde's Tommy books (1971), This Is Betsy introduces a childishly cartooned little girl who puts her jeans on her legs--but sometimes on her head; builds towers with blocks--but gets angry when they fall down; feels good all bathed and clean--but feels good getting dirty too; and so on. Similarly plain and basic, the companion volume shows her watching, envying, changing and enjoying her baby brother. The barest minimum in ""reading"" experience, with an indifferent bookstore look.
