COWBOYS AND INDIANS

52 stories and rhymes by K. and B. Jackson -- in a big colorful collection. 96 glamorous pages telling of the adventures of Sue and Jon at rodeos, trading posts, with bad men and Indians and wild life. Ranch life, prettied up, cowboys, buffalo, moose, pony express- it is hard to indicate the period intended, or the age of the children. Assuredly they are older than their pictures indicate. Common expectancy of old style Westerns, ""cowboys and Indians"" met in this potpourri that has more merchandise appeal than factual value for schools and libraries. Watered Westerns-but it is a lot for the money.
