KIRKUS REVIEW

The physical training aspects of war--presented by a man now training troops overseas, but previously an authority with a broad background of civilian experience, and head of physical training at our Ranger and Combat School--should have broader appeal than simply for men who are ""preparing for military fitness"". Schools, colleges, scout units, camps--all these should provide markets, as well as civilian defense organizations. In text and pictures (by Stephen J. Voorhies) this covers not only the routine exercises and condition exercises, but stunts and games used in Ranger training.
