KIRKUS REVIEW

For a time there was virtually an Eckstein cult, based on the fame of his successful Noguchi. We question whether the same market can be corralled for this new book, which is in dramatic form -- a play in 14 scenes -- and deals with one of Japan's foremost artists. It is not easy reading.
