KIRKUS REVIEW

All -- a slender all -- about Olivia who seems to ""fall into trouble"" as she moves from one young man to another and home to home -- with tragedy nipping at her heels in a continuity involving drugs, or just a stolen car, or a body here and there. Such a creamy, dreamy young thing, who knows what to expect next? Inspector Coffin appears midway in this series which Miss Butler has established with such expertise -- the sleight-of-hand in a velvet glove.
