KIRKUS REVIEW

The pious, canting Joshua Clunk, making quite a mountain from the small molehill of a young boy's conviction in a robbery. From his interest in an unusual member of the trial audience, to the connecting of two runaway girls with the case, Clunk builds up enough theory and fact to convince Scotland Yard, and comes through with the apprehension of a counterfeiting ring whose activities included murder.
