KIRKUS REVIEW

A group of fourteen stories, all English, though some have appeared here in Story, Esquire, etc. For the customer who wants short stories outside the usual pattern, these are exceptionally fine. Certain characters recur, though there is no attempt to build up, through the stories, a community picture.
