KIRKUS REVIEW

The universal appeal of the limerick is ably presented in this collection of old and new verses, all safe for public recital. There is a wide range of subjects, and the introduction is a good definition of this form of gay, impudent rhyming. And there are many on which to sharpen one's wits. Good, clean fun for all ages.
