KIRKUS REVIEW

For him who would like to know a little bit more than how to make and fly elementary types of kites, an authoritative book about them that begins with history and ends with a list of additional source material. Theories of kite flying, construction and materials for general types- and the more particular types themselves from tailless two stickers or malay to the tetrathedral; manipulation of parts and actual flying, fancy kites, novelties and tournaments- make up the balance. Francis A. William's diagrams should help clarify building and design. Specialized.
