OUR FREE MINDS

This is a volume in the projected series designed to give the citizen a batter background for understanding the problems of National Defense. To that and, Overstreet feels it imperative that we clarify the issues before us, redefine our terms, find an American way for carrying through the revolution in matters social, economic and political, and so learn how to defeat barbarism. He presents the basic ideals of Democracy, the excess baggage which we can drop overboard, the imperative need for given cooperation, for strengthening community spirit and life. This is a program for the psychological defence, in terms for the average layman.
