A TREASURY OF BASEBALL HUMOR

Grab bag anthology, really for young adults, but many in this age group will love it. Sure fire in popularity; uneven in quality. Some of the baseball classics are here (Lardner's among others). There's entertaining early sportscasting. There are a few unfortunate parodies and cartoons that may not click. In the line-up you'll find Nunnally Johnson, Heywood Broun, Ogden Nash, Grantland Rice, John McGraw, Irwin Shapiro, Ruark, Meany, Benchley and others. Dependable market.
