KIRKUS REVIEW

Maybe not style -- but the smoothness of the Scotch they're usually drinking -- this dual (big business -- narcotics) story of a corporate dropout who is rehired by a conglomerate for some reason unknown to him and becoming increasingly uncertain in the one-two-three murders to follow on the route from New York to Miami to Haiti. Executive suiting -- all dacron and not quite a yard wide to accommodate what is really not well cut in the genre -- but then it can hardly sit out in the evening that it takes, almost.
