He expounds on patriotism, heroism, goals, driving, ""who am I"", and communism, with equal concern and vitality. He claims that he is speaking to ""young travelers"" whom he sees as ""setting out on a journey"", and he considers his advice worth listening to and heeding. Unquestionably Roman Catholic, unfortunately didactic.
