In solid slap-on-the-back tones, the author advises young Catholics on how to maintain a solid morality and strong sense of religion, in a world of suggestive pictures in subways, and more exposed behaviour elsewhere. He expounds on patriotism, heroism, goals, driving, ""who am I"", and communism, with equal concern and vitality. He claims that he is speaking to ""young travelers"" whom he sees as ""setting out on a journey"", and he considers his advice worth listening to and heeding. Unquestionably Roman Catholic, unfortunately didactic.
