KIRKUS REVIEW

Hans Andersen translated into a story of a city clerk who took on the guise of a swallow and set out to seek his fortune. There's magic, and witchcraft and villains and captive princesses (figuratively speaking) -- and it is all taken in his stride as a matter of course. Not meant for the sober-minded reader interested in the social implications of his Little Man, What Now? but for those who indulge in castles in the air and day dreams. Not an easy book to sell, so pick your market carefully.
