THE NEW NAVY

According to Baldwin, who is military editor for the New York Times (and an Annapolis graduate), the essence of the new Navy is the technological revolution which amplifies the basic principles of sea power. He ranges over tens and tens of the electronic devices, uses of the atom, naval vessels and air-water craft to show that the Navy is truly new and that its power overlaps with the Air Force and the Army.
