KIRKUS REVIEW

The story of Lincoln's faith, as it grew with the man in his progress from cabin to White House. The days of his early ""separate"" Baptist gave way to doubt as he grew older, to faith as he assumed the duties of the Presidency. We see him over-whelmed by grief at the death of his son, Willie, and finding solace and courage to go on in his faith. For Lincolnites and those who don't mind a good deal of supposition.
