SALT WATER FISHING TACKLE

A final report on this may appear in the next Sporting Supplement, but meantime some fishermen may want it at once. The text summarizes the methods, ancient and modern, and goes into meticulous discussion of rods, reels, lines, hooks, lures, weights, etc. into the importance of balancing tackle; into methods of fishing. Tackle regulations, data regarding tournament surf casting, the making of tackle, and general suggestions as to care of the catch, sea sickness and a miscellaneous assortment of facts. It reads well, is a bit technical but checkful of interest for the deep sea fisherman.
