KIRKUS REVIEW

The managing editor of The Christian Century has given us a simple but very meaningful interpretation of the Lord's Supper in this little book. Dr. Fey suggests seven different ways in which the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper can have meaning for us today:-It is a memorial, an occasion for thanksgiving, a covenant, an affirmation, and a source of spiritual strength. It is also the doctrine of the atonement and our belief in immortality. This should be a most valuable addition to the clergyman's library, and, for the worshipper, an aid to the understanding and appreciation of our central Christian rite.
