KIRKUS REVIEW

Paul Bransom pictures for a factual story based on observation during many months in the Bering Sea region where the world's largest bears make their homes. His story manages to get in not only the salient facts about the bears and their life cycle but these other animals of the Arctic wilds, enemies, competitors in the struggle for living. Good true nature material.
