Another useful but uninspired collection of short plays (see New Plays for Red Letter Days. 1953, p. 633) is presented for use in early grades in connection with various topics- travel, the community, international festivals, famous Americans, religious occasions and so forth. All of the plays are short with bland, conventional plots. They are suitable to put on with homemade props and costumes and with an average of eight to ten people in each cast, there are ample parts to go around. A last section contains plays to use with handicapped children.
