FIRE FIGHTIN' MOSE

For those who like legendary Americana, cracker barrel style, here is a hale and hearty account of the life of Mose, New York City's giant of a fireman, back in the days when the city was young and fire was a wide spread hazard. Chapter by chapter, Mose's hose adventures include a variety of spectacular rescues, the ridiculous emulation of his'pal Sykesey, his love for Liza Stebbins, and so on down to the day when Mose got too big for his boots and his pride suffered a fall.
