This two age groups -- the upper grades-- 3rd and 4th -- in this group; the lower grade in the next group. An excellent true-picture of modern Alaskan Indians in the record of a boy who hated until the wise teacher translated the arithmetic and reading problems into terms of preparing a mail order. He liked better his outdoor with his father, -- learning to and hunt and drive a dog . Then there are the holiday celebrations, the comparative sharing of food, the good neighbor ing in daily practice, the coming of the first salmon of the year, the hunt. Attractive pictures -- well reproduced in these colors and i line -- by Lilies .
