HOW TO MAKE MONEY WITH YOUR CAMERA

The big, bright, dollar delusion -- for the amateur photographer -- which points out a happy future for that family snapshot or chance picture. For in his itinerary of eager editors, available markets, and possible profits, Mr. Forman tells you not how to take a picture (he assumes the picture you take will be technically perfect) but of what -- and where to sell it. In so doing, he either draws from his own experience as a foreign correspondent in the Far East -- which seems to have paid off very well in travel shots and documentaries, or from examples drawn from popular magazine media -- the plums of professionals. An appended Photo Market Guide to house organs, newspapers and periodicals, is selective rather than inclusive..... It probably would be much better to enjoy your hobby, rather than attempt to exploit it.
