A little girl religiously devours her Hopple Dopple breakfast food in preference to Crackle Jackles, Tinkle Pinkles, Riggle Tiggles, etc., because she is enamored of the Kangaroo trade mark they display. And then one day a box of Hopple Dopples appears on the table without its familiar trademark. The trademark is inside and he is alive. From then on life in the little girl's home is somewhat erratic as the kangaroo devours the potent breakfast cereal by the box and grows, and grows and grows. A funny story which spoofs the high pressure advertising directed at children and introduces the reader to a very determined heroine and a very lively kangaroo.
