KIRKUS REVIEW

In the faraway, early Bronze Age, among the peaceful, tree-worshipping Forest People, lived Heather, a child of nature who climbed trees with the agility of a squirrel. The haunting love story of Heather and Wolfstone, prospective chief of the war-loving, half-wild Sun People, is narrated in almost whispering language. The story might have been stronger had the author condensed his material, young nature lovers with an inclination towards whimsy, should enjoy this shady walk through mossy recesses.
