KIRKUS REVIEW

....Is fairyland for this little boy whose experiences, written down in Mr. attractive verse style, form a series of enchantments that make him mysteriously happier to be home again. But the king and queen of fairyland are both friendly and inspiring. Through the wishes they grant- the turnings and changes,- from bear into giant, from lizard back to boy, from ""grown-up"" to child- are healthy stimulants for the imagination.
