WE ADOPTED A DAUGHTER

A personal history of an adoption is told by the father in question and details all the steps, from the first interest, to the decision and on to the final legal procedure. That Barbara was two and a half and living in a foster home was a special hurdle; that there was conflict between her and Peggy was another; but the course of ""adult education"" straightened out with Barbara coming out of her shell with a rush.
