KIRKUS REVIEW

This makes an excellent start for a new series; the second will be Listen to Leaders in Law (February, 1963). And while there is no tag identifying these books as designed for adults or young people, our guess is that their largest and longest lasting sale will be among young people facing the problem of ""What Career?"" This first volume is not a scissors and paste job, but a collection of excellent, practical and personal pieces written by people who have made a success in the business of their choice and are glad to share their experiences and their philosophies with those at the beginning of their business lives. A few names from the roster of contributors will indicate the calibre of the personalities:- Henry Ford II; Thomas J. Watson, Jr.; Crawford Greenewalt; Adele Simpson; George U. Harris. The range of types of business opens up a wide horizon:- banking, investment, retailing, life insurance, manufacturing, fashion, advertising- a dozen and more. Subsequent titles in the series will be announced.
