KIRKUS REVIEW

Basic education for beginning breeder or kennel owner, primarily concerned with production of high class or show dogs and raising dogs for profit. It contains information on genetics, care of dam and stud, whelping, raising of puppies, feeding, kennel care, mating, etc. Good factual handbook, but for the amateur it is too advanced. We'd suggest Gladys Taber's ESPECIALLY SPANIELS- see report P. 319.
