KIRKUS REVIEW

This should serve as a very useful field guide to insect life, for adults who don't pretend to go into entomology with any degree of scientific knowledge, but who like to know their bugs when they see them: and for boys and girls, who are interested in getting the groundwork. The material is dividied into house insects, insects of trees and woods, insects in or near the water and garden insects. There's an introductory chapter, covering some general facts, and there's an index and guide to recognition and classification.
