PLASTICS FOR THE HOME CRAFTSMAN

Report repeated from Page 118 of the February 15th bulletin, as follows: ""A how-to hobby book clearly indicates the variety of projects that the acrylics offer the craftsman. Catalin, Tenite, Marblette, Bakelite, Plexiglas, Lucite and the way to buy them, how to care for the material, the tools needed to work with them, the pattern and the layout, the cutting out and assembling and descriptions of different kinds of projects- all are clearly set forth for either a beginner or a practised hand. There are further chapters on polishing, coloring, shaping, carving, and the specialization that poured plastics need. Illustrated and with diagrams, this will be useful in a little covered field.
