Pub Date: Sept. 17th, 1962
Publisher: Crowell

Before building an electronic device, the reader is taught some fundamental principles of electricity, including how transformers operate and what make up electronic components. The actual building, the tools and instruction follow with a description of some twenty circuit experiments in transistor projects and conclude with a group of vacuum tube projects. Clear black and white diagrams will help the young scientist achieve his goal. The audience those with a decided flair for electricity and a working background in the subject will understand the highly technical language employed. The novice-in-the-dark to begin with, will come away with less than a glimmer.
